went to a lake no one really fishes,lookin for gills...ive been catching rock bass in the 13 in range.never been a bass fisherman...but they are fun..any help ???jigs,baits,depth???im convinced there is a mich state record in the lake...altho its not bass season.
i just know they will bite if i stay another hour.

I have caught them on a tip up for perch a foot off the bottom of the lake. I was about 15 ft deep.

I've caught mine on a sandbar that typically has walleyes lurking.
