Gave it a try today and remembered why I don`t fish there ! The Ice was sloppy walking. There were two guys on the ice when I got there. Looked like they had their 10 tip ups out and in the 2 hours I fished I had one flag and they had 3 flags no fish for them or myself. I spoke to them as they were leaving. They had been there since morning and said they had only 2 fish and some missed flags.

I used to Fish that Lake years ago and did well with Trout and Bass. The last few years have been horrible, went earlier this year and had to fish hard to to get a few gills.  Won't be going back this year!

Jefferson loaded with Pickeral, not much else that I know of or had any luck with.  Not my favorite.

Fished Jefferson a couple of weeks ago. Road and parking plowed but a foot of snow made access and moving around really difficult. Six guys made the trip . Mostly jigging but a few tip-ups out. No flags. Everybody got tons of gills but between the six of us only one perch and one crappie. Most action came around the island .  I've done better there in the past.

jefferskunk those nospeaks fished the crap out of it past 4 or 5 yrs and keep every fish!
