Lake Erie Tip- Downs
« on: Dec 20, 2004, 11:20 PM »
I don't know how many of you have ever heard of these or used them, but I was wondering if any of you have the know how to make Lake Erie Tip-Downs.  I used them a couple times last season and they are deadly on perch schools.  I have only found one place that sells them and that is Webers Bait near Sturgeon Point on lake Erie.  They are inexpensive and very good for fishing minnows on. The measurements need to be exact on these as they are perfectly balanced.  I would love to make about 20 of these for my group but would need perfect blue prints in order to get the right balance.  ANy help would be appreciated.  I tried to buy them on numerous occasions so I could copy the wood pattern on a saw but they are always sold out when I go to buy them.  Any prints out there??? ???
