Well, I havent had one for 2 years, but picked up an ice 35 last fall before ice up.
All in all I'm very happy with it, the only issues I have with it is that I didn't use it enough, I wasted most of my ice season chasing pike that didn't want to bite.
I also never got it into deep water, didn't get a chance to fish the local deep hole, didn't freeze up till late in the year and then spring decided to come knocking
Deepest I got it this year was 30'
Great sensitivity, zoom works awesome, battery life was never an issue, and I still can't get over the screen size compared to vex and marcum.
I have been reading on here that some guys are having interference issues with bird units side by side, I never fished near another bird so I don't know if mine is prone to it as well or not. I know that it definitely handles vex interference no problem.
Any other guys out there want to chime in on your bird experience this winter?
