Sad to report that long time contributor to this site, Richard Levi’s, aka coffin dodger, has passed away.

Just reading this. Coffin Dodger was a great guy to chat with and quite calming. It was a pleasure to have met him and appreciated his friendship. Until we meet again.

I always found Coffin Dodger to be a calm voice of reason on IS.

One of the finest individuals god ever created, he was kind, intelligent and a real gentleman.. I am glad to be able call him my friend.. we will fish together again dome day.. you will be missed.

Yes he was he will be missed. Glad I got to meet him and fish with him. He had some great stories. Nice pic. I think I was with that party that day.

I think you were too. there was a photographer who came out onto the ice later that day taking pictures of an eagle Richard had tossed that smallie out onto the ice and the eagle came in and grabbed it….the guy took a picture of it. Put it up on his website… I’m glad I got to fish with Richard as often as I did, and stop by his house on occasion…
