Hey, Im headed up for the cold lake derby (Feb 17-19) just wondering how thick the ice is and how the snow is any info would be great thanks

Out in front of garrenet its 2 inches of ice ,then 10 inches of water then ,9 inches of ice .

Yipes hey.  Yeah, that is why I'll just leave Cold Lake alone this year.  I'll stick to easier traveled lakes.  Good luck out there to the brave!

Yes it’s my first time fishing the derby but I have fished cold lake before. Don’t sound like much fun moving around. I see the weather has been up and down there to probably not helping things. We are bringing snowmobiles to get around but going to set the camper shack up for a base camp and stay in it. Thanks for the info
