Title: Wild Colored Tiger trout
Post by: eyeflyer on Jan 19, 2023, 06:49 PM
Fishing was fairly steady with small perch and small to medium rainbows. Highlight of the day was this 16" tiger with some wild coloring. The camera really helped today he kept working around my presentations for over 20 minutes. Tried all 6 rods/lures and 4 baits and finally when I started dropping it right into the weeds he dug in there and got it. Dropper rig with a worm was the combo that had him bite it and hang on.

Yes, that is a more extreme colored Tiger.   Great orange colors.  I'm sure it was even more vibrant in person.  Usually only see that in the fall but this on is holding onto those colors nicely.
