I'm here. Can't wait. 4 more weeks of work left and it will be time to hit the lakes. I am hoping for a early november freeze up.

I'm here and each day I'm getting the itch! I'm thinking about selling my deer iron and just working on ice fishing. Thinking with the $$ from the iron I will buy an arctic armor suit! It seems like hunting land is getting hard to come by and I can buy meat sticks cheaper than hunting my own. The public lakes all seem to have enough room for ice fishing!

Still need my sturgeon spear, but I've got until February to worry about that.

Now hopefully the below average temps in Sept hold for the rest of fall so ice up will be right after I bag a deer.

Howdy folks! Just attached the auger holder to my atv rack and put new glides on my sled over the weekend - won't be long........

Getting ready to go...... picked up a 2 year old Jiffy auger (still with the Tecumseh engine) and welded up some towing bars for my sleds. Only thing I'm waiting on is to find an ATV with a plow and I will be ALL set to go!!!

Hey. Got the auger fired up the other day, (what a great sound!) got the boat put away, winterized the camper, and the shack has a fresh coat of caulk and paint. All that's left is to put some venison in the freezer, and I'll have all my chores done and be ready for my favorite time of year!!
