So when will we be fishing?

This weather SUCKS! last year at this time I was fishing on safe ice. What a difference a year makes. Me and my buddies always fish on New Years day, looks like our annual tradition will be ruined this year. I honestly don't even know when we might have ice.  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
