Hi All.... now that Ippi's is closed, are there any other  bait shops on the North Shore?  I seem to recall one just off Western Ave in Lynn/Saugus.

Thanks!

I heard that she passed away a few weeks ago. Her grand-daughter is going to run the shop with her husband is what I've been told.

My bait dealer was closed when he was suppose to be open. I was headed to the Birks and checked the bait dealer list and found Millie’s Country Store in Southwick. I called and they said they open at 6am. Bait was mostly mediums but was very healthy. Their tank is small so call ahead to be sure they have enough.  208 College Highway. 413-569-1552

 Some options for Central Mass:
I was in the Spencer area today, driving north on Rt 31/Meadow St., and noticed some signs tacked along the roadside. If I remember correctly, they read, "Art's Live Bait. 14 Bay Path Rd." I didn't stop check them out, since I had already picked up my bait earlier in the day, a town or two south of there.
Practically on the Brookfield/ Sturbridge border, there is a fellow selling shiners and rosies out of a shack on his property. I don't know if his business has a name, but his address is 71 Gay Rd.
County Line True Value Hardware in Brimfield does offer a concession in the way of live bait. They have an aquarium tank with shiners in it. Not sorted by size. They looked like mostly mediums or medium heavies. Right along Rt 20, and very close to E. Brimfield Res, if that's your fancy.

2K bait in Lynn is gone. Depending upon what you are looking for, I believe Tom's on Ballard St, Saugus may carry shiners. they might carry other types if ice fishing bait. pet shops generally carry waxworms and mealworms. Agway in Danvers on wenham st carries shiners, worms, spikes and waxies. Dick's doesn't carry much, if anything, in the winter. WalMart might carry something.
