Better off running over to Willow Slough in Indiana. About a 30 mile drive for ya. I live close by and wouldn't waste my time on Manteno...

Though it says he lives in Cedar Rapids he recently moved to Bourbanais. Isn't Seneca just outside of Las Vegas? :o

If you are after numbers and want to keep the fish then Willow is not the place to go, they only allow 25 fish per day.

I give my parents and siblings fish because they like to eat fish but they don't fish.  I give my neighbors fish, always nice to have a few neighbors get together for a fish fry.  That said 25 fish won't go very far, besides I like to eat, I can easily eat 15 pieces of fish if I am hungry.

Last time I was out at the Slough,we spoke with the DNR creel counter on our way out.
He said the day before he had a count of 1,200 gills out by the end of the day.
