quickfish 3 help...
« on: Jan 13, 2011, 09:41 AM »
I just got the Quick fish 3 and have had it out a few times. I am noticing that the dark covering on the inside is wearing off already showing the red from the outer color... Is this normal or should I be contacting Eskimo ???

I think I would ask the tech support people at Eskimo.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

I have seen this in all of the Eskimo tents i have been in, including mine. They say its just that inner liner and not a big deal

I must be lucky because i've had one for three years and used it over 100 times and it is just like new. I set mine up in a heated garage and dry it out every time I use it though.

Would be interested to hear what Eskimo says about this issue.  I have only used my QF3 three times (I love it by the way) and have a few spots where the same thing has happened.  I wondered if it was the hubs rubbing against the fabric when being put away, or maybe ice scraping against it during setup/takedown.  Last time out I went outside  and left door flapping  and when I came back in there was a streak of the gray inner coating scratched off on the door.  I can't really figure out what would have done this.

Thanks.
