Quick question, have been reading a lot of posts on this web site as a guest and like it a lot. Found this site while searching for ice fishing gear, have to say I have enjoyed what I have found here. Tried to login as guest but could not get in site. Just registered and was wanting to know if there is a membership fee.

Thanks Bottom Bouncer

Welcome Bottom Bouncer-Yes, there is a fee. Whenever you happen to encounter any IS member in person, you have to buy him\her a beer. ;) One word of caution. This site is dangerously addictive. I have personally wasted about 3 or 4 hours this morning alone on my computer.  :-[

Great news love this site, let me know when you're coming thru North Dakota and I'd be happy to buy you a beer if I'm not already packing a few. I too spent a lot of time reading posts as a guest and now am looking forward to visit with a few other icefishing addicts.

Guess I need help here replying to messages,do'nt think I 've done this right.

Welcome BB, they seem a bit different but they will grow on you.  Don't buy them beer, they get worse.  Kind of like "DON'T FEED THE BEARS".

DirtBall, I'm assuming the three to four hours wasted behind your computer this AM were wasted on work. Everyone here knows IS.com is no waste of time. By the way, welcome BB.

I'm a birthday boy this week...1 year old.  Welcome Bottom Bouncer! You'll have a lot of fun meeting some of these guys out on the lakes.  Always something new to talk about. After you put faces on a few of them, it soon becomes home....Bob

Welcome, bottom bouncer!  You'll find so much info in the back posts (everything from how to tune up yr auger to regional links) you'll actually save time you'd spend searching other resources.  And it's nice to be able to read about ice fishing on those days when you're not able to get out there.  And there's NO lack of advice...some of these guys would tell a ghost how to haunt a house! ;D ;D ;D
