2016 Striker Ice Sales Yet?
« on: Nov 11, 2016, 05:24 AM »
Ladies & Gentlemen, anybody see any sales yet or know of upcoming sale on striker ice gear for 2016 yet?     Want to pick up a suit, but try and at least not pay full retail.  Thanks, and safe fishing this year!!

If it were me I would wait until either the Hardwater Expo in Blaine at the end of the month or the St Paul Ice Fishing Show at the beginning of December.  Lots a good deals at both of those.  Got a pair of Predator bibs last year for $110 at the show in Blaine.

Good info, I will probably wait until then. Gander Mountain has a Cyber Monday sale today where you get $50 off a $250 purchase and $100 off a $500 purchase. Striker bibs are $199, but if you need a couple other things, would be essentially getting them for $150.

Dicks sporting goods has 25% off today. Works for strikers. I ordered the predators for $150 total.

Currently have arctic armor suit. Am interested, but not overly familiar with the striker suits. From what I've read the hard water suit is top of line for ice fishing. Most of what I read was 1-2 year old posts. Am I correct with this....and any pros and con's?...Any info appreciated.

The best of the Striker Ice suits would be the Climate lineup..

The Climate features the thickest material, and are as warm as the Hardwater.. But the liner can be removed for early/later ice for warmer days.. They still float the same with the liner's removed...

Thanks for the heads up!   Bought the Eskimo EC40 propane auger 10".  Originally +$450, was only $350 after tax with free shipping.

Been waiting for a good power auger for years.
