best crappie lake near hibbing, minnesota?
« on: Aug 17, 2005, 09:43 AM »
hey y'all

I just got a few questions that you guys can answer for me.  :)   I was just wondering what lakes you guys fish crappies on?  How big the slabs are?  What you catch them on?  and finally what structure you catch them slabs on?

                                                          thanks

I grew up 12 miles north of Nashwauk in the boonies, & have fished every area within a 40 mile radius.  Some lakes you couldn't get outta me if ya tortured me, but I'd be willing to give up a few.  Crooked Lake, north of Nashwauk, can be really good, although the last couple of years size has been down.  Last year, O' Brian Reservoir, right off the highway b/t Nashwauk and Keewatin was really hot at night.  Also, try Lawrance Lake up Scenic 7.  I'm not gonna give ya any times or spots, but when I head up north this winter, I'll give ya a holla!

Always wear clean underwear, cuz ya never know when the paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off.
