Like IceJunky & I suspect many others, I have been buying a few things for this season.
Here's a few pictures of my new gear.
And last but not least.
Good Luck on the upcoming season.
Best wishes: Rick

WoW! Your off to a great start, nice ride too.
Have you used the Slick Jig or the Magz before? They look great.

I've used he Badd Boyz Magz & bought the Lindy Slick Jigs due to there quite similar.
Also an other similar jig is called a Meegs Jig.
Excellent jigs for whitefish & lakers. Most tip them with micro tubes but I find small minnows live or salted work best for me.
Lower to the bottom & bounce a few times off bottom then hold just touching bottom. Then add a slight wiggle. Repeat sequence if required. The bouncing on bottom (sand/mud is best) simulates baitfish feeding.
Can also be used higher in the water column if you see suspended fish, with a couple jigs - pause - wiggle sequence.

Nice start to the season. I think If I buy any more ice gear I'll be living in my hut.

Buck-shot spoons, and their dropper version, are the most incredible lures I have ever used through the ice...PERIOD! Last year, they seemed to bring in the the fish from all over the lake...you are going to love 'em!
