Bomo Ice conditions and weather report for this weekend

We are on our way up tomorrow for Benson Derby and was wondering what ice conditions on Bomo are like.  Is there a lot of water on top of ice, and is there any chance weather will be cold enough to freeze it over by Saturday.  Thanks in advance for any info given.

good to know. Ya, fishing there last couple of years for us has been really slow, but still great to get out of Ct and away from wife/daughter for a couple of days.  lot of beer and laughs with good friends so trip is always a success.
