Island Pond

Can anyone tell me is the only way to access IP is from the fishing access to the south? Or can you access from the state park on the north? Also Im sure there is more then enough ice to drive on, is there any large pressure cracks to look out for? Going fishing there for the first time this weekend just looking for a little information.

I pulled my shack off Island pond this past weekend.  You can access the lake either right by the store in town or down at the state boat launch.
No pressure ridges to be concern about but the snow drifts are making it rough driving.
Theres a fair amount of fishing pressure out there this year.
I had about 15" of ice at the shack two weeks ago.
