bomo north end
« on: Jan 02, 2015, 04:40 PM »
Got out at noon today and hit the north end up.. ice is still very sketchy but it is fishable. 4-5 inches off boat launch, and 5-7 on the north side of bridge. talked with some ppl out there and they where hittin a lot of pike and bass in the weeds, me i couldnt get a bite.... jigged for 2 hours and nothing.
then went up to echo pond in hubberton (or i believe that's it name) and got a few small perch but i let them go back for seed. cant do much with a couple of 5 inch perch. had 4-6 inches up there but watch out for the springs... gotta know the pond to fish it this early

good luck and stay safe all
Ice, Beer, Tip-ups...can it get any better? Oh yeah... My wife stayed home :)

thanks for the update..
I do all types of fishing; but I am Die hard Ice angler.
I love Ice Fishing the lakes of Rutland County. Recently moved to NY and now will be Ice fishing the Lakes Of New York.
