Anyone else out on Tyler Place friday in Highgate? The fishing wasn't bad for most of the day but eventually the wind was just stupid. Our tip-ups were blowing out of the holes and across the ice. We couldn't even walk, we were literally getting blown away. Shanties were getting tipped over as well. We had to go and get one guy on the snowmobile because he couldn't walk back to use. The ice was covered in water and it was flowing into the holes and causing small whirl pools in them. It was a pretty crazy day, pretty fun too for a while, but eventually it just got to be too much.
