never ice fished there but it's great open water, there's big browns and rainbows and good shot of hooking a lunker largemouth (guess largies up to 6-7 lbs aren't all so uncommon out of there)

caught a few rainbows there earlier this year in the 13-15 inch range, a friend of mine hooked a nice +/- 18" rainbow that cartwheeled out of the water and spit his hook out there this year

good luck if you go let me know how it is, i was thinking about trying it

I will be fishing there on tue. I can get my license on line ... I was reading the regs. & it says I
am allowed only 5 lines or tip-ups ? am I reading that correct ? I don't want any problems ...
A day on the ice is always nice, perch & pickerals are fine with me ... more info is always helpful
                                                    thanks  guys ....
