I knew there wasn't ice, but had no idea what he was really talking about. Haha... hope she freezes early this year again, ill probably only be up there last few weeks of January

My buddy just got a camp near northwest bay.  Boy am I excited for the lake to freeze over and drop some line but this warm spell set us back.

This summer these signs appeared at the Harris Bay access spot:



Was previously just an old "no littering" sign and you could launch a canoe/kayak, access the ice, park, etc. Don't know of a way to get on Harris now.

Your going to have to park on the other side of the lake and travel by ice. This is exactly why I fish with an atv. I can park anyplace and travel the lake. Or risk your truck being towed I guess

I drove by the other day. The chain is in its normal position and the posted signs remain on the posts. Hopefully as long as we behave ourselves, don't leave a mess and park far enough off the road, things will be status quo. Sometimes we're our own worst enemy.

If they put up a sign and a chain that’s a pretty goof sign they don’t want anyone accessing through the property. So disregard it and park anyway. That’s exactly how fishing spots are lost. Next thing you’ll see is guys trucks being towed and the response will be “ well I didn’t know i couldn’t park here. I figured the sign was for everyone else “ lol.
