Those bottom 3 gills are dandys!!!  What do you do with the ciscos?  And how was the ice holding up where you were fishing?

Ciscos are really good smoked. That is what I used to do with mine when I was catching them every winter.   Whitefish and cisco are part of the herring family and whitefish is good eating so I am going to deep fry them tomorrow and see what they taste like.  Let ya know how they turn out.  The ice is still holding up fine, but I think once it goes it will go fast.  I guess they was about 15 guys out on zimmy long today.  Way out in the middle probably in 30 fow...later
