Those are all some great pike.  No places around here in Ohio to ice pike  , but I target them on open water in rivers and they are one of my favorite fish.

Alot of nice fish, but someone in there should be ashamed at themselves. Put the small ones back, you can't even get a good fillet out of them. The perch in the pic were almost the same size.

I think that one was about 40"/20 lbs. Can't remember exactly. Not so big but I always thought she was pretty.

Here's a bigger one....46"/25 lbs. (released)

(Image removed from quote.)

that fish looks a lot bigger than 25, and at 46" i don't think you are doing yourself justice...prolly closer to 28
My dream is clear, it involves fishin' n beer

I guarantee you that all those Pike in my pictures were released. Fish that are 15 lbs and above are old fish and unless its going on my wall they go back into the lake after some hero shots. I am sure many others do the same. I know that TIPUP there in Canada releases most of those giants he is catching too.
Being in the great outdoors is not a matter of life or death. Its far more important than that!

The back strip is real nice once they get around 35 inches or so... That and you actually get some decent fillets out of them at that size...

I know a couple old timers who wont even take a pike home unless its over 40"
