Took some boys from Florida out ice fishing, in the snow and slush!
the one guy i had taken before in december (the shorter one)
the other was his first time.
We got out early at the buttcrack of dawn.
this lake has had a pretty good AM bite of late
so we get there early and only catch two fish, for like 3 hours. lunch time comes around and the whole lake decided to sit under our holes lol.
We did pretty well! nothing over 18 but we had the numbers. them boys had a good time on the ice!
Got a new tent- Eskimo 6210 I. Heavy af , easy set up, BARELY any accouterments (no roof mesh holders, limited anchor spots, doors would NOT close without me going outside and squeezing the fabric together.
Good windows though, easy easy set up. i give it a 3 out of 5 ( price was good for its size)
Trout harvest time is almost over, gotta get them before they turn back into a mud-flavor lol
