My son and I pulled into the parking lot at Lake Seymour a couple of years ago and the truck thermometer showed -17*. It was kind of neat seeing all of the steam rising from the freshly drilled holes! Actually spent most of the day outside since it was sunny and calm. It was a little breezy here this morning which really dropped the "real feel" temp!

Dont laugh, my father did it with a 69 volks van. I still remember that junk, we had a rope from drivers side to passenger side to keep the doors closed. lol

I can picture that!
True story, a buddy of mine has a car repair shop. A "client" dropped off an old limo and then disappeared. The limo is buried in a snowbank right now.
A few weeks me and the boys were joking that it would be cool to dig it out and convert it to a mobile ice fishing rig by putting studded tires on it and drilling holes in the floor and making some hole covers, etc.
Of course that was around the same time all this snow started to pile up. The limo would be useless on the ice right now.
Back on topic: I feel a warming trend!!! Had 6* in Weston this morning! Bring the heat! ;D ;D
-
yeah it was like 12 this morning when i got up in colchester
-
-9* on the top of Terrible Mountain this morning on my drive to work. I think the 25mph wind has blown the cold air to the mountain tops, up out of the valleys where it is normally coldest.
Hope the wind dies down for the weekend
