Title: Muskegon lake

Hey fellas was wandering if anyone can tell me anything about Muskegon lake . Looking to walk on water we have no ice here in Indiana and me and the wife wanna scratch that itch bad ! Any info is much appreciated !!

I don't live in the Muskegon area but I'd imagine that lake will be awhile before it's safe.

On Michigan Outdoors last night, they were fishing from boats. Probably last week.

I live in Muskegon and there is no ice on the lake yet. This year has been a total let down.

We went last weekend to Cadillac did not see any ice south of 10.

After the show on MOOD TV last night, Muskegon lake will be even more packed with boats breaking up the skim ice as fast as it forms for some time. :(

ice may be just starting....its been some ice then away it goes...and a little shore ice now. Docks just got pulled also from the city launch I have used. Forecast looks not good for open water.....or for ice for that matter. Unless we get really really cold for several weeks I think perching through ice out in the deep areas of the lake...I think MKG Lake is a dream this year. We may also be getting to where boats may not be able to get out too so the perch may be getting a break soon.
