Your post is a thing of beauty. It still boggles my mind when guys exaggerate the length of their fish by 20 to 30%. I love your post!

This was a 15" from last year. Have caught a 16" but could not find the pic (for proof

).
And yes it does not line up, position of tip-up, length marks, angle of camera, depth of field of the lens - not trying to start an issue.

Here's the longest one I have caught, it was about 15" and was caught by accident while bass fishing on a suspending jerkbait.

Hold on that is not an offical "Yellow" retractable tape measure, plus the tape is wrapping the fish a little and the mouth being open adds to the length!!!!!

Seen one caught in New Jersey that was 19 inches about ten years back. Not through the ice, (on a boat). It was long and skinny. The biggest I've caught through the ice was 13".

This is my best taken last week in Pa. Not sure of the length and weight, sorry. I'd guess around 13".

My best are a 15" out of open water and a three different 14" through the ice. I think the most recent one (pictured on the bucket) was the heaviest of the three.

I'm a pretty recent member, but I've lurked around for a while. This could very well be my first post (EDIT: 7th).

These are the biggest I've caught in Colorado, they were around 10.5" the one on top might have been 11". Pretty little compared to some of the ones you guys are posting up but I think they're pretty decent for CO. I've caught some fatter longer ones up in MN but I don't have any pictures of them.

I'll try to post more and contribute to this knowledge bank of a site.

Those silvery "Maine Perch" like in the picture are worthless. I feed those to the eagles.

i consider anything over 13 inches a monster. i have caught a few almost 14 but never got one over that

i would say anything 13" and up a jumbo. got a few privet lakes i fish where they avg 14-16" my personal best is 16.5 but have seen two go 18" never weighted one. my friend registered one officially that went 2lbs 15oz but in pa from privet waters it doesn't go in the records just got a paper saying he beat the record

Not my biggest ever, but certainly my biggest perch this season so far @ 13.5 inches ...
