Title: Snow Conditions
Post by: keithm87 on Jan 11, 2019, 11:33 AM
Anyone have reports of snow depths for lakes in the area? I know in central VT that they are a real mess, but what about Magog, and champlain islands?

I was wondering the same myself. Curious to know if I need to bring snowshoes along for the trip out somewhere tomorrow.

Well then, if your balls are that cold then you might need medical attention...as for mine, well they tend to run hot... :P ;D :roflmao: :woot:

It would be hard to imagine the strong winds not clearing some of the snow away up in the islands. I heard it was fierce!

Just an expression dude.  ;)

Thanks however for sharing with the entire forum the status of your baby makers. We can all sleep well tonight knowing that information.

I'd rather say it'll be as cold as a witch's tit, but then again all the witch hunt BS going on these days might offend the witches...LOL
I'm done with the baby making, rather fish than f...

Yut, I hear ya bud.

On a different note, I used cross country skis this time last year to get around in the deep snow instead of snowshoes. I was able cover a lot of ground and do it fast. I don’t have a snowmobile, but the skis worked great. My wife found them on the side of the road for free, so you can’t beat the price.

Ideally I’d be running a Rokon motorcycle right now. It’s two wheel drive, super wide tires and it can go anywhere—best part is that they float!! They also start around $7.5k, thus is why I don’t have one.

Ahem...  Family friendly, gents  ;D

Waterbury Reservoir was snowier than an ermine's elbow, and slushier than a hellbender's hindquarters.  That was Thursday.  Couldn't pull my flip shanty.

Today, Fern was fluffy as a poodle's pompadour, and I didn't even try.  I headed to Bomoseen by float bridge, which was harder than Chinese algebra.
