glow rig
« on: Dec 23, 2014, 09:20 AM »
here is an alternative rigging some mite benefit from. i use it mostly for crappie, but can also be deployed on a tip up for eyes or whatever. uses those float glow sticks to draw attention to your bait below, above or both. this is a sketch of the simple one hook rig. you can add or change it up as you wish.

Looks good! I've seen perch go after the flasher or glow stick, so I usually put a hook on the end of it! Haven't caught a double yet, but someday I will.

I use a VMC spinshot hook with a spoon under , I know Lurecraft makes  a extreme glow powder that can be added to plastics they claim it glows for hours.   I'm ordering some to add to my plastic formula when I pour my plastics.
