Next winter hope to visit relatives who live in Stratford,Herkimer County and may bring some ice fishing stuff along.
looking for a lake or two around that area as they don't fish so would like a couple of tips where to go.Thanks

Try the Caroga lakes. West Caroga is decent for splake and an occasional brown.
