I don’t post as much anymore.  This ice season I’ve caught bluegill, hybrid gill, yellow perch, black crappie, white crappie, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, white bass, wiper, brown trout, rainbow trout, and snake river cutthroat.  I got a late start though:

Damn, that's pretty good! From what I know, perch have been far a few between. Trout sure are fun there though, good quality! Plus saves you the 2 hour drive down South  ;)

I also fished “local” yesterday, only 65 miles to Blue Mesa. 6” of snow on 13” of ice at Dry Creek. 25 vehicles on the parking area. Maybe 10 huts. The lake trout weee there in 55’ but wouldn’t eat. Tried lots of stuff. Last 2 trips we got 10 but I think the full moon had it jinxed, not many folks catching. Went into 25’ and found some perch plus trout eating perch. Ended the day with 3 browns, 2 bows n 12 perch from 5”-10”. Ratso’s n Pimples in glow white n brass.

Having a good time down in the SW. put 6 on the ice in 3 hrs. and missed as many. Fun part was a hog that hit hard and kept on going. Stingy fellow, didn't even thank me for my jig. Might need to step up to 6# line.

Out on Chambers last Sunday, slush was horrible, a long slog everywhere. Out of all the groups I talked to only one caught more than a couple of fish. Prob 8 groups out there. Caught some small lakers and had a few good marks roll through but was pretty slim pickins.

Did pretty well at Green mountain on Saturday. Caught small Lakers(8"-15") all day, only got one 33" to take the bait though. Saw at least 30 more fish that size on the livescope that just cruised through and never even looked at the bait.

Hit Chatfield on Monday, had eyes on the livescope from the time we got set up at 4:00pm till the time we left at 9:00pm. Only caught dinks though(10"-16").

Thanks for all the replies. There are definitely some nice fish that have been caught so far this year. I got out yesterday and got into a few. 20 fow fish were suspended all caught on 3mm tungsten jig with small piece of waxworm. Had to work for the bite. No takers on minnows
