Hi,
Just saw this auger it's around 100 bucks has any one used them on a drill? Looks like I would need a $20 adapter for it also. How would you prevent it from going down a hole?

I thought all hand auger is not automated? and if it's automated it will go down the hole?

I found a 7 inch eskimo auger with shaver blades would this be a good set up? With the adaptor I'm getting. I figure 7 inches is bigger than 6 but not as taxing as a 8 inch drill.

Yes it would.

Just an FYI for you. The Eskimo 7in and 8in hand augers are the same auger flighting. The difference is in the blades they put on them....... So if you want to make it an 8in instead of a 7in just buy a set of 8in blades to slap on it. Also if you feel like you want a lazer later you can buy an adaptor kit off eBay that allows you to make the shaver into a Lazer. Some guy like to do this because the auger doesn't have the breaker bars on it then. The kit is a mora to lazer adaptor.
