I'd be curious as well.. I am from Ohio and  I had to leave my truck and equipment up there to get truck repair done . It is fixed and I'll be headed up this weekend to pick it up this weekend . Wouldn't mind fishing somewhere .

Will the river fish by Saturday? Never fished there ?

I would not even consider making a special trip up . But since I need to get my truck I considered it .

Guess it's time to get the StarCraft Fishmaster out and get ready for spring big girls on Erie .

They're fun thru the ice and from the boat but more fun thru the ice .

My buddies dad pulled a 31" out of Sag on Sat when we were out.  I didn't hear the weight but I'd say it was 12 plus . Unfortunately he wasn't in the derby either .

Bigguns are in the sag bay but a lot less because of the mass of smalls eating all the forage....

I havent heard anything on Qsee.
It was hit or miss for most guys, but some reported decent perch this winter.

On Michigan-Sportsman site "PartyMarty" did aerial video of the bay. Also posted on YouTube
If anything...I'd suggest walking out of State Park, probably safest ice around
Am sure there will be plenty of guys there fishing within a mile of shore from where it all blew out
