Title: Dropper rigs for crappie... anybody use them?
Post by: italianice77 on Jan 08, 2016, 06:32 AM
Just wanted to see if people use dropper rigs for crappie and whats their favorite....mine is a small kastmaster with a 6lbs floro. leader about 3-5in. long and a size 10 mamooska or diamond jig tipped with spikes or plastic. I also do well with perch with this, when they are looking for the flash but don't bite a spoon.

Not a true dropper, but I tend to have about one inch to the hook.  That's just normal line tied close and pulled out the knot snugged distance.

These are much closer, since I actually took time to pull it together.
