I have an old spoon auger and I have the exact same auger in the last pic, I dont know how long it would take to drill a hole with that thing or if they even really worked thank heavens for modern technology I also have old tip ups jigging rods and reels

This is an old timer, belonged to my great grandfather. We're guessing he made this one during early 1930's. Hope the pic shows up!

Couple more pics of the same one. Looks like he made it with a piece of rebar, not sure what he used for the cap on the handle but it's welded on and the cutter assembly was three pieces of steel and a couple screws.

Pooley I have this Old Snabb.  I changed it over today so I can use it on my Tanaka. Tomorrow I will give it a try on the ice.

That is cool!!!
It needs some tinkering. It is too aggressive as is. Sharp Nils worked on it but with no way to test it we need some more time and adjustments.
