First day out and first grab of the day I land a 15 lb laker.  To make matters worse it was in Slide Lake....a lake we dub the Dead Sea!!   Ha Ha .... hopefully I catch another fish this year !!

Well that make me feel just great, we were out there Thursday the 28th, right out from the ramp. Big black hut. We didn't even mark a fish. New to the lake, not sure were to go... it would appear that you do. Nice fish and congratulations.

Well... I went out on Slide today.... drilled 13 holes, moved three times to different locations and in 5 hours didn't even mark a fish!!  Guess that's what I get for getting the big boy right off the bat!  Ha,  good times though!!  Happy New year ya'll !!

Got to love chasing big lakers! I love to hate those fish.. That is what makes catching them so fun, some you have to earn and other times it just happens!

Just knowing that there are lakers that big in there, makes me feel better for all the wandering I have been doing on that lake lately without a single bite!
