When I ice fish De Smet I have always used white twister tails on a pink head jig tipped with a meal worm and used to have great success fishing at 15-25 feet. Used to consistently catch large rainbows, but it seems in the last few years my success has gone down. Just wondering if this could be because of the walleye that were introduced and if there are some better techniques/bait/presentations to try.
