A good friend caught this 41 1/2" pike with me yesterday and too bad he wasn't entered in the tourney. I sure wish it had been on my tipup so I could have entered her. Oh well still have time......   ;)

I remember fishing Sakakawea a few times with my parents and grandparents before we moved 17 years ago (used to live in Turtle Lake).  I believe my cousins still fish there quite frequently too.  I remember my dad catching a pike of considerable size out of there too.  Very nice fish!!

Can you say MONSTER! What a hog. Did you check the stomach contents? I found a couple baby beavers in a char one time and one pike I got up north had a muskrat in him......kind of scary......

I know he cleaned it but not sure what was in the belly. I always release mine but he was going to can it I guess. YUK I like to release those big ones as they are the future but it's tough to tell those old guys that ya know...... Wish he had C & R 'd it. Got to go FLAG UP!
