I live in Michigan and went out to the annual Cavanaugh Lake Ice fishing tournament and sled drags over the weekend. Got out to the lake, there was probably 30 trucks out on the ice. Drove out there with my own, set up my shanty, checked the ice, there was 10 solid clear inches of black ice. Hmmmm.... Good enough for maybe one truck but not 10 trucks parked side by side on the lake by the boat launch! So anyways, me and my buddy a couple of hours later went up towards the boat launce for a B double E Double R-U-N and as we were driving past the line of trucks, I notice a full size Chevy next to a full size Ford leaning in \ / towards each other and about 6 inches of slush and water around them. I made the wise remark and said to my buddy "Dude, those 2 trucks are gonna sink, look at 'em!" Well, anyways, we ran up and got our human anti-freeze and came back and on the way back we seen a tow truck. "Hmm, I bet those trucks went in!" Sure as Sherlock, the Chevy managed to get away in time but the four door, F-250 long bed diesel Ford went in! It sunk about 3 feet down. A tow truck and about 15 drunk rednecks helped out and the truck was out four hours later!
