what line does it come with

Hello all just bought a couple of those new St. Croix , premier rod combos ,(med 28" ) ,and was wondering if theres a way to tell what size line do they come with. is there any way to tell? thanks

I dont think it matters, no matter what it is rip it off and respool. Companies are notorious for filling spools with cheap line

I bought a St. Croix ice combo a couple of years ago. They don't spool the reel with any line. I like that it doesn't come with any line because then I am not paying for something that I most likely will never use. Saves a lot of time not having to tear line off and then re-spool.

I bought 2 last year and they didn't have any line.  I put Bionic on them this year.  We'll see how it is.
