use carriage bolts through the bottom of the skis then tighten nuts on the inside of the sled and cut any excess of with a grinder or hack saw

I mounted downhill skis on my ranger solo.  I used UHMW spacers about 3/4" and counter sunk holes on the ski itself.  I drilled right through the sled base and ran 1/4-20 stainless bolts and washers.   Works great.  I would take the time for alignment if being towed behind a sled or wheeler.

My uncle made a bracket of PVC and mounted the skis on it.  Then he places the sled on and off the bracket when needed.  I'll try to remember to get a pic of it and post if here.
