I forwarded this message to a friend to post because I am in cape breton nova scotia.  It is 21 degrees and the lake is freezing over.  I wished I lived farther north rather than only being able to visit a lot a few times per year.

My wife and I spent a week up in Cape Breton last June. It's a real pretty spot. It must be quite windy on the north shore. I saw a lot of lead weights on the telephone lines to keep them from slapping. My grandfather was from Port Hawksbury. If anybody want to take a fun vacation trip, go to Cape Breton.
