I got into making my own tubes. Playing around with colors and blends and they pile up quickly.

They'll work wonders for them

So whats the secret color and size? ;D ;D
-
White, in a size that matches your target prey size. I'll guess 4" most often. Sometimes bigger but I'd bet never smaller.
-
Honestly Ive caught them in just about any color. Though I prefer white / pearl / or some shade of blue. These are 6 and 8” tubes here.

Any change you'd do a video or slide show on how you make these?
I also like the lighter colors.

It’s all done injection mold. There’s another way to do it “dipping”. Might be cheaper as the molds get pricey quick

I will find the dipping video if I can on YouTube thank you very much.

Dipping definitely be way cheaper, but takes lots of time.

A lake trout can eat a fish 1/3 to 1/2 its length, so a 5 to 10 inch tube is not too big.

That’s cool. What equipment is needed to make them?
