Just feed em sum of them fine eats yer cookin! They will fatten up 4 sure!

They were pretty much giving them away at costco  they are a Awesome shelter when you fish on many different lakes. Cant wait for some ice!   Have a Great season!

Im in HRM area but we fish everywhere in the area and always having a great time! :) Them are the 2 biggest perch ive got on hardwater not easy to find big yellows in waters that are open for them around here forsure.   Thanks!

Them rainbow smelts are unreal its the only place ive seen them grow to them sizes Hoping for a 20 incher this winter lol they are in there!

Ya we get rainbow smelt here also biggest we've got was 16 inches , but have seen bigger. They are fun to catch .

Out of everything I fish for on hardwater I do luv going after them rainbow smelts . Watching them on the flasher is a Blast they will chase a jig 20 feet and nail it. We use smelts for bait lil cubes on small jigs.  What about you if you care to share :)

We use the smaller ones for bait . And I have a dozen or so people i give the bigger ones too ,after I get couple of feeds for myself.

ITS BEEN YEARS SINCE I HAVE BEEN UP IN NOVA  SSCOTIA  DEER AND PARTRIDGE HUNTIN  WE USED TO HUNT OVER IN NORTH MOUNTAIN  THERE WAS A RIVER THAT HAD BIG STRIPED BASS IN IT   oh  i remember  annapolis river in middleton BUT  THOSE ARE HUGE SMELTS  I  CATCH THEM WITH A SMALL TEARDROP JIG AND A PIECE IF SEAWORM ON IT  IF YOU CANT GET SEAWORMS USE  NITECRAWLERS AND DIP THEM IN IODINE IT  WORKS FOR SMELTS AAND   SEA TROUT  NICE  PICTURES    pete  santini   www.fishfinatic.com if you like catching stripers   check ot my website

Awesome striper pics on your site!  We fish the shubie river most of the spring and summer for stripers They Rock I Luv it.  We use sandworms for smelts as well but nothing beats using smelts for bait it seems . I find lil yarn on end of your hook works awesome to. Sometimes you bring them up with only there teeth hooked in yarn. o0o  We need some cold weather here bigtime!  :)~

Sand worms are a pain in the azz to get we do have few different types here  "bloodworms,sandworms, and some big type. When im striper fishing I use mack's or herring, gasp and do very well on them. This year I used alot of raps and bucktails tipped with grubs they seemed to work as good.  Fire me a email  [email protected]  Ill send my addy .  Thats Alot!!
