Got out today for some crappie but wasnt too succesful. Only got one crappie but got some pickeral,bass, and a few perch. Not a bad day on the ice, but tmras weather isnt looking good $:-\$

12/30/05- Went to Rock Pond and hammered the crappie,perch,and sunnies. We also got a nice 2.5lb bass and a good sized pickeral on tip-ups. Was cold and windy but the action was good and the ice was still good.

12/31/05- Fished Rock Pond again this morning from 10 to 1:30 got a bunch of small bass, crappie, and perch. We then went to Stiles and tried for some trout and got some nice crappie, a dink bass, and I lost a nice bow at the hole

1/1/06- Hit a few different places today, started out at Pleasant Pond for some trout/salmon but got skunked so we then went to Baldpate Pond and got a few small bass and a pickeral. After that we went over to Rock Pond to jig a little and we put out about 5 traps and got this nice 21" bass!!

Nice fish.....Just got a shanty like that for Mrs. Santa gona get to use it 1/7 - 1/28 on St. Helen, MI. Never used a "vex" may have to try for one of them next year if i'm not to naughty this year....:}

The shanty is awesome for comfort but for fishing, the vex is the best tool you can buy IMO. The thing is awesome, it helps you locate fish and if the fish are susupending or not.
