I was just poking fun with you for not attracting fisherman to your area. Raquettedacker started a thread a lil while back called "Which state has the best icefishing opportunties". Type that in your search engine and it should bring you right to it.

Don't count out Canada man. Being that they are farther north there ice season is a lot longer than anywhere in the states. I've never heard anything about stellar perch fishing. The pike and lake trout aren't no joke though.

Are there any near Foxwoods? I could sit my old lady in front of some slot machines and go hammer perch.

The northern part would be a great start, Winter months would be my suggestion    Just kidding.    ;D
I'm sure there will be many opinions on this question, and I really can't answer it.
I'd consider Maine, New York, Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin etc.
We get the biggest ones here in Massachusetts...Just kidding guys. but we do get some nice ones.
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!

Caught some open water perch today, can't wait to get em thru the ice  ::) This lake doesn't produce many big fish so these 9 inchers caught by my brother were pretty nice.
Whether its hard or soft, I'll fish em both

Apparently you guys don't have as many invasive species as we do in West Michigan. I haven't seen perch this big since the 80's.

dont know where you are in relation to lake michigan but that big ole lake has some of the biggest perch that i have seen.  I was a creel clerk for the INHS for a season and weighed and measured tons of perch and seen lots out on the IDNR and WDNR gill netters

Those are some nice perch you guys got there!

Dont catch to many monsters like those in MI but we get a lot of nice eaters!

Caught this guy fishing out of my kayak.

Caught these guys when we took the boat out for the first time after ice out! There was still ice on the lake.

2 From that same trip.

My buddy on that same ice out trip with a bigger perch.

23 That I caught on a trip out by myself last year.

77 Caught on a trip with 2 of my buddys!

105 In the bucket caught the next day with my same 2 buddys!
I caught a fish once!

Ok I need to stop posting pictures lol. Makes me want ice real bad and its been 65 the last 2 days now!
