Didn't catch  any fish  but I caught  the wind  it blew me down the lake in the portable . When I started to move a few feet (15 + ) I  jumped out .

There is a post on the VT board from a guy that lost his gear sled and auger down the lake today from the wind, it may be in Canada by now

Another guy came by my spot riding a bike.. ...not studded.. ...and was looking for his gear. Said his jet sled blew over and he lost his gear,  portable and everything else so he was looking for the proverbial yard sale across the lake... unreal conditions today,  ..hope everyone stayed safe

I struggled to tend my set lines and was rewarded with a 8.23 # cusk . Held the lead until the final minutes . Another good fisherman nudged me out wit a 8.63 . Congrats to Beau Chase of Sanbornton .

Nice work! We had a board worthy cusk today. Did not weigh it in.

Just add water.

A guy in my open water fishing club won the whole thing..can’t believe it..1 yellow all weekend fished both full days..lol..not good
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

He did well.... I fish with him often - he has been searching for bows all season and already had some real nice ones this season... getting one on derby day and then winning the raffle  - hell of a weekend.
