Ice hot tent camping

Whats the furthest south lake anyone has winter hot tent camped on ice? Looking for a place to do a 2-3 day trip with my lab and myself. Walleye,perch and crappie are target fish. We will be staying warm with a small wood stove. Thanks folks

when would this be? There's no safe ice in the lower 1/3 of WI right now.

I've done this on Pewaukee Lake a bunch of years back. Access is good from the west launch.

Probably end of January for lower. I am considering going to the turtle if iI go sooner. Just need to watch snow amounts. Been there with too much and was a sloppy mess once you get off snowmobile roads.
