Separate drill for anchors
DR.SPECKLER:
If you get good ice anchors like eskimo they screw in so easy and fast that no drill or extra drill will be needed.my shappell and polarbird ice anchors are crap compared to the eskimos.i replaced all my ice anchors with eskimo brand.

X2. Don't make it any more harder or spendy than need be. ::) Get some E'Mo anchors.

I use a separate brushless rigid drill for my anchors. Mainly cause I'm lazy and dont wanna disconnect my main drill from my auger.
I just take the battery from one drill to the other.
